xShots is a screen capture application for Windows systems, it allows you to save any number of shots of the screen, but you are not limited to saving screen captures of the entire screen, instead, xShots allows you to select which parts of the screen you want to save.

xShots supports saving images as bmp, gif, tiff, jpg and png files, supports multiple threads and has very little memory and CPU usage. Also included with xShots, is my own UI library which is still on the works, so you may find a few quirks here and there, but nothing to get sad about 🙂

xShots main features include:

– Shot interval can be configured per shot to any interval

– There can be any number of active shots at any time

– Shots can be configured to save the entire screen, or just a part of the screen

– Individual settings for each shot, or a default settings set can be used by any shot

– Scheduler can be easily started/stopped from the system tray context menu

– Support several file formats, including bmp, gif, tiff, jpg and png

– Can upload images to a user configured Ftp server

– Stores all login data in encrypted form using SSL

– Fully multithreaded

– Very small memory and disk footprint

– Shots and application settings can be easily moved from one computer to another

xShots is completely free, if you find it useful to do your work or simply would like to help in continuing the development, please consider making a donation by clicking on the paypal button on the top of this page.
